On the path to welcome Lorch into my family…

Good News! I have just received Lorch’s character card! Squee~~ X3

The path to collect the materials needed for his Stun Gun was a long and arduous one. Hmm, i reckon WinterSakura will be very much pissed at that stage too. But, she’s still at the part of getting the shining tortoise powder for his explosive traps and she’s already complaining. It’s not gonna look good when she tries to gather the materials.

Anyway, I am ecstatic to share the final part. Here they are with some screenies to show.

After getting the ingredients, Lorch starts to make it. He then fights with you and is actually quite surprised that a fight took place between him and his new friends (you, in fact). He seeks your forgiveness (who can resist his charm?!) and then continues to improve the shotgun he was making. Then, spies appear! You will have to defeat them and it’s a breeze with my wiz’s Hole of Darkness. In the end, Lorch and you will defeat 2 waves of attacks and a message will appear:

Lorch’s thanks

He then waits for an acknowledgement letter to arrive from his father, and that should take approximately 15 mins. If ou insist that you can’t wait that long, why not run around the city and pose~!

Cake~

Roy: Cake~ X3 Pwetty pwease?
Vega: No! Don’t you know of something known as a budget?!

Roy pesters Vega to buy cake

Tired of all the whining, the trio head to Villa de Libertad, said hi to Mr. Ayende and sat around the fireplace.

The Fireplace

And then, after walking in front/ around the PVP officer, a message comes in! The letter had arrived! The trio ran towards Lorch and the following happened….

Yakyakyakyakyak about his stubborn dad and then…

Join me family?

Of course! I will LOVE to have you in my family! X) After all, with all the trouble you’ve caused me, it is always good to show off what hard work can reap.

Till death do us part…?

Oh my god! LORCH! HUGSSSSSSS X33 You’re such a good guy~! HUGSSSSSSSS some more~

Final pic to share: You guys will probably have seen this while trying to be friends with him. Please think straight guys… >_>;

Let’s p-?!

Lorch, you are…

Troublesome? Naw, loveable, more like. Even after you made me use up at least an hour to get those tortoise powders for your explosive traps and making me run between you and Isabella, I will presevere to get your card! 3 more steps to go! RAWR!! >D

As i mentioned, his quest can be called troublesome, especially if your computer lags a lot at City of Auch. You will have much trouble as for most part of his quest sequence, you will have to run between him and Isabella the cake girl and rescue him from a scuffle with some Reboldoeux soldiers. At the end, he says:

“Thank you…”

All the more I want him… Now I’m stuck at the process of getting him the ingredients for his Stun Gun. Involves running to Pradera de Ceniza, which my chars aren’t quite ready to step into there yet…

Been fooling around at the Golden Well outside City of Auch. It only appears at channel 1 and if you’re lucky, something like this may happen to you:

Lucky Spin

Remember to prepare at least a few hundred (if you got them from the monsters in Dr. Torsche’s Mansion) or a few thousand (if you have the money to buy them from the Item Dealer at Auch). This will increase our chances of hitting jackpot! Bellem’s Boxes drop out of the Well and into your inventory while the Gold Bars and pieces drop onto the ground, so be sure to pick them up!

Have fun playing at the Golden Well! :D

Trinity level 2

Being high level has its advantages. By making use of my delay over the course of the quests, I finished Jose Cortasar and Alejandro’s quest on the same day, 5 March 2008. For Jose’s quest, it was due to constant lag at the instance to fight him. The result was that Vega died in the battle and Roy solo-ed him in the end. For Alejandro’s quest, simply getting the chance to fight the Escudo Pecher was hard enough, let alone trying to get it’s arm. Thus, I decided to do the mission Trinity level 2, which is said to spawn alot of Escudo Pechers and Merman Chieftains. Together with LeAzure, I had to finish 2 missions to get the arms. Seems that it’s best to get it without using any skills on it…

Trinity level 2 again

The loot we picked up kinda rewarding, if not for the fact that my level is too high to use any of them. Off to the store room they went for my lower level comrades in my barracks. Enchantment chips, armours, bracelets, staffs and rods and rifles, all at around level 44.

I will recommend wizards of at least 60 to go in, simply because the monsters cannot touch you when you’re levitating, but make sure you have Photon Splash, otherwise it will be hard to keep the mobbing monsters at bay. Other characters should be of the same level as the wizard to compliment and help in the battle. It’s best to use a stance that offers a good 1:1 attack and Area of Effect attack.

PS: I picked up a Trinity level 3 the same night at Dr. Torsche’s Mansion, Grand Library from either Helena or Sasha. I have no idea how hard level 3 is going to be…

Hengestones

Players must have bumped into these stone pillars within the course of their game. When clicked upon for the 1st time, a message appears over the pillar, saying that a “mysterious power” is emitting from the stone. After finding a certain amount (i’m not very sure, you’ll have to try yourself), the hengestone officer in the office of pioneering support will give you rewards for finding 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 hengestones. The rewards range from utter crap to treasures, so it’s good to try your hand at this little game of finding the hidden stone, which cleverly hides itself in the most indistinctive way. Here’s one at Porto Bello, Deserted Quay.

Hengestone

Can you find it? I found this as the hardest to spot, because I ran around the area but to no avail. In the end I had to ask someone who had found it to bring me there.
