oh, what bad news. what undesirable things to happen. >__<
this evening, while grinding away at rion priarie in an attempt to get my people to level 68 (which i succeeded), a broading war happened between the pinoy and singaporean players of the game. someone sparked off the entire war, and drew more than 20 people replying to the expletives thrown in between the 2 countries. KNNBCCB came out (which means to diss off your mom and adam’s secret), but too bad i didn’t take a screenie of it. i was too busy talking to my squad mate, a fellow s’porean. i do have some screenshots to share though, along with comments.

thallmann (me) dropped in a reply after seeing everyone diss off each other. i mean, come on, we’re who we are, why compare? then a comment on s’porean guys being gay, oh my… doesn’t this remind you all of the broad wars that often wage in MapleStory? no wonder someone called us ‘little kiddies’. (pl0x! me be defending my country!)

maybe that 1st line is corret, but there is another explanation to this situation. we are merely defending our country, which the pinoys are doin too when someone dissed their country. then that one about ‘no hot gurls in s’pore’, plain bias words =/

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT TRUE. i will like to point out to everyone to stop making snide comments when you have no base!

A plea for help that went unheard. even i wanted the GM to pop out and then dish out the proper punishments. but… oh well =/

A whole chunk… must be a bug. then someone comments about the english language itself. are you sure that only english people speak the language? please, you should know that english is the international language, plus you are playing in a regional server, not local. so why diss a language that the game itself is also using? also, in a regional server, you have to communicate with players from other countries. so what language can you use if they do not understand tagalog? english.

On a lighter note, after my squad mate went offline, i decided to do spotlight level 1 myself. it’s really simple, but having only one family play it is possible for someone with high level characters. the main monsters appearing in this quest lobby are those you see in tetra. the map-boss of the tetra grand corridor appears in waves~~ so be sure to kill them as soon as possible before they swarm around you. the levitating wizard is recommended, though the attack is a little too low on the phobitan chieftain. be sure to have a 1-vs-1 skill that is easily spammable and is able to get rid of a whole chunk of the bosses’ HP. Blandir Cruz is reccommended for the fighters. If you are confident that your trio is going to be real fine in there, then let your scout take 2 daggers. they can help to clear the mobs of monsters.
after the entire quest, 4 chests appear, one for each of the 4 participating family. in my case, i can only open one, but never mind. a commemorative photo of the win:
