Granado Espada 2.9.1
- The all-new pet system with pilfurr available first. Broomy will join later I think.
- The 3rd currency, Feso. Farm for them at all Forgotten Territories and Ancient Territories.
- The click-and-go map navigation system. Saves you lots of time spinning the camera and opening the mini map to locate the place you wish to go.
Pets
The new pets! Everyone’s enthusiastic over them and I can see that many families are now doing the quest to quickly get their very own Pilfurr for their Family. This little cute thing helps the family to pick up all the loot on the ground and also helps to attack the enemy at some times. Their most important job to us is still to pick up loot I guess. Anyway, I can roughly give you a view of the pet quest.
Some requirements for the quest first:
- Be of at least level 50
- Have at least 10 million vis in your account
The first requirement is due to the part right after you hand the pet expert the Egg with moss. You will be transported to an instance fight and your opponent is…
Her level’s 50 and sadly, I didn’t manage to get a shot of her stats to show her AR and DR. Sorry! You are given 4 minutes to kill her, so use your best skills on her fast! I let my people do all the whacking while taking the pictures too… You can leave the other Grabbers a.k.a. Pilfurrs around you (which are throwing stuff at you to stop you from killing their poor mama!) alone, as unless your level is not that high, they won’t be much of a hindrance to you from continuing to whack the Grabber Lady. Given the event that you characters are of the same level as mine (or around that or higher), the grabbers’ throws will simply miss you, so there isn’t much to worry about! Also, the pet expert (who happens to use the Chapter of WInd Martial Arts skills) will aid you in the fight as well. She has a AoE attack similar to the Elementalists’ Chain Lightning that she casts quite frequently, so take heed of that.
Second requirement is due to my lack of knowledge of where to get the eggs from. Apparently they can be found at the Island of Fire, but exactly where on the Island I do not know. Hence, here’s where the monsy comes in handy, unless the price of the egg soars that is. Search at the Market Manager “Egg with moss” or “Egg with Moss”. Otherwise, be around the streets in front of Auch’s Market Manager in channel 1 if you’re playing in the Rembrandt server. That’s a hot place to find sellers opening their own shops. See if you can find any of the eggs. The price of last night’s eggs dropped from the 4 million I bought them for to 3 million, as reported by my sister. 10 million vis is to make sure you don’t become penniless after buying the eggs, because it wouldn’t have been quite worth it if you lost all your money.
Some more pictures of the instance fight below~
So now… after fighting the mama, you talk to the Pet Expert again and he will take you into an instance to see the pet egg. It’s unhatched, so all you have to do is just click on it and see its progress. Here’s a photo:
Check back for three days straight to take care of the egg. Personally I don’t know the penalty (if there’s any) for not coming back for your unhatched pet, but to be on the safe side just do it. Now’s to wait for the egg to hatch…
Feso
The third currency. A hard-earned one to boot too. This currency is only available at all paid dungeons, which are all Forgotten Territories and Ancient Territories across Granado Espada. They either come from the monsters itself or from picking up special stones called sunstones, earthstones and moonstones to sell to the Feso item merchant in each city for a few thousand Feso. It’s rare because they don’t drop at a very high frequency, making this a very uncommon drop in the dungeons. The good thing about this is that you can buy items sold by Leticia the Premium Item Merchant with this currency. Plus some of the items sold have special in-built stats in them, like hats with Max HP +X00 that last for 30 days. Pet food is also bought with Feso!
To earn them, have lots and lots of patience. That’s all I can say as I hadn’t even gotten one Feso yet.
The click-and-go map navigation
This new function is sure to help both the new and old players by a lot. In the past, before this was implicated, many had to find NPCs in cities by constantly opening and reopening the mini map (Alt+Z) to search for the NPC and be sure that one is going in the correct direction to meet him/her, that is the NOC in question. Now, all you have to do is this:
- Check that the option to click on the mini map is checked in the Options menu (Alt+O)
- Once it is, open up your map and randomly select a place you wish to head to
Have fun!
